Project Manager Olesia Trofymenko gave a presentation on “The attitude of Gatekeepers in 5 Countries: Two-Year Progress”, based on the study “The Attitude To LGBT People (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgenders) Among Key Social Services’ Workers In Five Countries Of Central And Eastern Europe And Central Asia” in the framework of the ECOM Regional Program “Right For Health” in Tallinn at the 3rd Regional Consultation on HIV/AIDS among MSM and Trans*People in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

The Consultation was designed to develop stakeholder-based approaches to strengthen national and regional response to the HIV epidemic among MSM and Trans*People in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The conference was attended by more than 170 representatives of state, international and non-governmental organizations from 22 countries. During the consultation, 15 sessions and 4 workshops were held to address issues such as best practices in the context of HIV response; participation of the community in the development and implementation of national policies in the field of health and human rights; issues of state funding and sustainability of HIV prevention programs among MSM and trans*people and others.
